Here are some commonly used couponing abbreviations.
ECB: Extra Care Bucks — Vouchers that are printed with your receipt and act as money toward your next purchase at CVS.
RP: Red Plum — The second type of coupon insert you may find in your Sunday newspaper.
RR: Register Rewards — Vouchers printed with your receipt that act as money toward your next purchase at Walgreens.
SS: Smart Source — This is the third type of coupon insert you may find in your Sunday newspaper.
WIVC - Walgreens Instant Value Coupon (found in the Sunday insert)
WYB: When You Buy — You need to purchase multiple items to get a bigger savings.
Start 2012 off right, get organized! Take some time to organize yourself and save time and money in the long run. Do you have a bunch of expired coupons in your binder?
Take time to sort through your coupons to stay up-to-date. Now go check your stockpile. Is it just all shoved into your cabinets and shelves? Is there no rhyme or reason to how it is organized?
How do you know what all you have if you can’t see it? Take time to go through your stockpile and organize similar items together.
This will help you illuminate any unneeded spending down the road.
Finally, once you are completely organized, create a schedule to better manage your couponing time.
Believe me, if you don’t you could spend hours every day looking for the best deals. Limit yourself to a certain block of time each week to do your couponing and spend the rest of your time enjoying your family and friends!
