Neo-soul king to bring concert to town

The neo soul singer who recently took fans to the "Lake By The Ocean" is coming to town.

Maxwell will bring his Summers' Tour '17 to the Fraze Pavilion, 695 Lincoln Park Blvd. in Kettering, Tuesday, May 30.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, April 1, for the show with Ledisi and Leela James.

Tickets can be purchased beginning at 10 a.m. at  etix.com,  fraze.com  or Fraze FanFare,  300 E. Stroop Road in Kettering.

"blackSUMMERS'night," Maxwell's latest album, includes the hit Lake by the Ocean as well as the songs  "Lost" and "Listen Hear."

His started making hits more than two decades ago.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Maxwell gained national attention in the 1990s with hit that included “Sumthin' Sumthin’,” “Fistful Tears,” “Whenever Wherever Whatever,” “Pretty Wings,” “This Woman's Work” “Lifetime” and “Fortunate.”
