Background/Overview:

Brad and Jackie Winner live in Urbana with their three sons Brad II, Cole and Trevor. They’ve always liked the “feel” of living and working in small towns.

When they heard that a food mart in Mechanicsburg was going to close, they quickly bought the spot to refill the need for a food market in the community. They named it Winner’s 1 Stop. They’ve loyally helped hundreds of nearby residents with food accessibility since opening more than a decade ago.

Village Inn Tavern at 165 W. Sandusky St. in Mechanicsburg was just doors away from Winner’s 1 Stop. It closed in 2017. Soon thereafter, the Winner family bought the old tavern. Their renovation plan was to update the building to attract customers to a place that offered a fine “MIXX” of quality craft beers and liquor, American classic food, and different genres of live music. They named it MIXX 165. It opened for business with a clean, modern feel in May 2018.
