Fourth annual Dayton Concours d’Elegance at Carillon Park, Dayton History has announced nominations are open for the fourth annual Dayton Concours d’Elegance at Carillon Park on Sunday, Sept. 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring the cars of Walter P. Chrysler and Alfa-Romeo.

Miami Valley AAA will once again present the event, which will showcase antique and classic automobiles and motorcycles on the grounds of the park, 1000 Carillon Blvd., Dayton. AAA will host a hospitality area for AAA members.

The weekend will kick off Saturday afternoon with a driving tour and visit to a local automotive museum for Concours participants. Saturday evening will feature a casual preview party, open to the public, on the grounds. The event, from 6:30 to 11 p.m., will offer a special preview of automobiles, an automotive art pavilion, live music, silent auction, food and beverages. Cost is $75 per person; reservations are required.

The Concours will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday and will also feature live entertainment, an automotive art pavilion, sponsor exhibits and a variety of local food and beverages. All exhibits at the park will be open. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 3-17 with children under 3 free. A commemorative program is included with admission. Tickets for the preview party and Concours are on sale now at Carillon Historical Park.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Dayton History, Montgomery County’s official historical organization. The organization boasts multiple campuses in the greater Dayton area: Carillon Historical Park, Hawthorn Hill, Old River Park, Paul Laurence Dunbar State Memorial, Patterson Homestead, Old Court House, Memorial Hall and the Archive Center.
