Enrique Alvarez, the manager of El Toro in Springfield, said previously the move was due to parking issues.
Alvarez said the location change will also be good for business as it sits in view of a more popular shopping center.
The business that previously occupied 1781 N. Bechtle Ave. was Sakura Japanese Restaurant, which relocated to the adjacent building, 1785 N. Bechtle Ave., a couple of months ago.
El Toro’s other Springfield location is at 2100 S. Limestone St.
