The family-owned business was founded in Springfield in 1905 and manufactures a variety of products, including mustard, mayonnaise, horseradish and vinegar. Woeber has about 210 employees, Goodridge said.
Company leaders said they aren’t looking for any specific number of employees. But they wanted to gather resumes from candidates for various full-time positions, including entry-level production jobs, line leaders, forklift operators, maintenance and sanitation technicians, and product prep technicians.

“It’s our first one ever so we’re just kind of doing a trial,” said Karissa Goodridge, human resources manager for the company. “We’ve been struggling to get people so it’s just to see if we can get some different candidates coming through.”
The company also wants to make local residents aware jobs are available in Springfield, she said, and they don’t have to go outside Clark County to look for work.

In the past, the company usually posted openings online, Goodridge said.
“We also recruit from Clark State and Wittenberg to try to stay local,” she said.
