He said the recent acquisition will allow the firm to expand services focused on providing access to accountants and CFOs to local organizations and businesses that need them. The move doubles the number of employees focused on those services, Kamal added.
Clark Schaefer Hackett also acquired tax practice Marcum and Associates last month.
“The demand in the marketplace for outsourced accounting services continues to grow,” said Kerry Roe, president of Clark Schaefer Hackett, in a news release. “As a result, we continue to invest in expanding our outsourced accounting and advisory capabilities.”
Keelsra Business Services was founded in 2005 by Scott Campbell and until recently operated out of an office on North Limestone Street.

“My priority has always been to serve the best interests of my clients and the people who work here,” Campbell said in a news release sent from Clark Schaefer Hackett.
“This deal accomplishes both. My clients will be able to access to additional resources and more sophisticated services and my people will be able to realize the benefits of being part of a larger professional services firm,” he added.
Clark Schaefer Hackett has nine offices in three state, including seven in Ohio. The firm has a total of 500 employees.
