Leonard Taylor scored 17 points, RaHeim Moss 14 and Michael Wallace added 13 in his most productive effort since returning in midseason from a knee injury as unbeaten Springfield defeated host Fairmont 81-65 in a boys high school basketball game at Trent Arena on Friday night.
Springfield improves to 11-0 and keeps pace with unbeaten and top-ranked Wayne (12-0) as co-leaders of the GWOC National East, both at 6-0. Fairmont (9-5, 4-3) was led by Cade Morgan’s 15 points. Jack Hendricks and Ryan Hall added 13 apiece and Kellan Bochenek 12.
