No injuries in Springfield Twp., Clark County, house fire; cause undetermined

UPDATED @ 7:51 p.m.: No one was injured in a house fire that burned the attic space of the single-story home this evening, Harmony Twp. Fire Capt. Chris McCutcheon said.

Firefighters had to pull the ceiling to get at the fire, listed right now as undetermined, he said, noting the investigation is leaning toward electrical as a possible cause.

Four people in the home when the fire hit got out safely and will have to stay elsewhere tonight, Capt. McCutcheon said.

He declined to estimate the dollar amount of the damage done to the structure and the home’s contents.
