The man flagged down Springfield Police Division officers about 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of West Main Street to report a theft, the report says.

“Officers spoke with (the victim) who stated that a one-eyed woman stole his wallet,” the report says.

The man told police he picked up a woman in the area of South Light and Court streets for oral sex about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to a police report. Afterward the man dropped off the woman in the area of West Main and Light streets, then later discovered his wallet was missing, he told police.

The man called his bank, which told him several transactions had been made at local stores during a two-hour period that the man never made, including at a drive-through and a grocery store.

A witness told police she saw the woman get out of the man’s car and later saw her going through a wallet.

No arrests were made due to a lack of probable cause, the report says.
