According to a media release, U.S. Marshals took 19-year-old Joshua Ragland into custody on Garfield Drive early Tuesday morning. Ragland was wanted in connection to the shooting of 21-year-old Joe Grohl on Rutland Avenue on May 27.
Ragland has been charged with felonious assault, discharging a firearm, and weapons under disability and is currently listed as an inmate of the Clark County Jail, but his mugshot was not available.

A warrant has been issued in connection to a shooting Saturday night in Springfield that caused one person to be flown to Miami Valley Hospital.
Josh Ragland, 19, of Springfield, faces charges of felonious assault, discharge of firearms and weapons under disability in Clark County Municipal Court.

Ragland is wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred about 8:30 p.m. Saturday on Rutland Avenue. Police said 21-year-old Joe Gohl was shot and taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center by his father.
““(The father) stated he saw (the suspect) holding a small black handgun that had a chrome ejection port,” the police report says. “(The father) watched the (suspect) shoot the firearm four times while standing in the street at Gohl, striking him in the right hand and his upper right thigh causing serious injury.”
Gohl was no longer listed as a patient at Miami Valley Hospital on Tuesday.
