Springfield Police Division officers alleged they broke into a home on South Limestone Street about 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 13, and hit another woman with a wrench, along with their fists. The victim had visible injuries to her face, hands and feet, police said, and blood was all over the house.
Police issued warrants for their arrest and they appeared in Clark County Municipal Court on Friday.
Both women pleaded not guilty to the charge and bond was set at $10,000 for the assault charge. McConnaha also faces a domestic violence charge that she pleaded not guilty to and her bond was set at $1,000 for that case.
