Daun Morrison, 23, of 231 S. Shaffer St., was arrested and placed in the Clark County Jail. She’s expected to appear in court at 10:30 a.m. today.
Springfield Police Division officers were sent to the home about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on a call about a child on a roof. Morrison told officers she was doing dishes and didn’t know where the child was at the time. The child was found in a second story room located directly over the roof where the windows were open to circulate air, the report said.
