Galbreth appeared in municipal court on Thursday and pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor in the second degree. He is set to be sentenced on Sept. 13.
The affidavit said the woman saw a blinking light and was able to find the camera in her bedroom.
“The reportee stated that while cleaning their bedroom, his wife had located an unidentified video camera hidden behind the computer in the master bedroom,” an affidavit says. “The camera appeared to be remotely operated and there was a light flashing on the camera which indicated it was actively transmitting.”
The address or neighborhood was not disclosed in the report.
Authorities began investigating and were able to use the home’s security system to find out that the only person in the home that had time to place the camera in the bedroom was Galbreath, the affidavit says. After issuing a subpoena to the company that made the camera, deputies were able to obtain video that was recorded by the hidden camera which was stored on the company’s cloud.
“Some of the video clips showed the residents in various states of nudity,” The affidavit says.
Police said they questioned Galbreath and through their investigation found that the motive behind the camera was for his own sexual gratification, the affidavit stated.
