DETAILS: Unbelted back seat passengers can become ‘human missiles’ in crash
An affidavit says deputies at the Clark County Sheriff’s Office started their investigation in August after an undercover agent allegedly identified him as selling fentanyl near Lincoln Elementary and Hayward Middle schools.
The affidavit says the sheriff’s office secured a search warrant on Sept. 12 and began investigating a home in the 500 block of Fremont Avenue on Sept. 13.
“During the execution of the search warrant Bryan Campbell was apprehended on a traffic stop near Tibbets and Fremont Avenue,” the affidavit says. “When being placed into investigative custody, he was in the possession of $997 total cash.”
Getting people who deal close to schools off the street is a big priority, Clark County Sheriff’s Officer Maj. Chris Clark said.

“Obviously we don’t want any of that activity to be done around our kids,” he said. “These kids could see that and they think that it is something that is part of life and it’s not. It is something we want to eliminate in this country.”
At this time there is no evidence that Campbell was dealing to any children from the school, Clark said, but said he was arrested for evidence that he was operating close to it.
