Two men who were stabbed Wednesday night at a home in Bethel Twp. aren’t cooperating with an investigation, deputies said.

Clark County Sheriff’s Maj. Chris Clark said Randy Sinclair II, 34, and Clifton Ferguson, 31, were stabbed.

The two men were taken to Dayton area hospitals where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries, he said. Sinclair went to Miami Valley Hospital while Ferguson went to Grandview Medical Center.

Both men were discharged from their hospitals by Thursday afternoon, according to hospital spokeswomen.

Clark County deputies were dispatched just after 9 p.m. to a home in the 11000 block of Gerlaugh Road. Also at the scene, an SUV connected with the stabbing was found on Stratmore Street and had its tires flattened, deputies said.

Deputies had closed off the area as they searched for evidence and conducted an investigation. Authorities detained a woman at the scene, but Clark said she was a witness and was released.

Investigators are still looking into the case but at this time don’t have much to go on, Clark said.

“The only update I have is that the victims were uncooperative with law enforcement,” Clark said. “We are still trying to tie up a couple loose ends and we will probably do a prosecutor review with it but it’s pretty much closed at this point.”

He said no other updates were available Thursday afternoon.
